Melita Press is the Tradename of Salander Group Co. Ltd.; a Maltese family run company that has grown exponentially over the past two decades. Our philosophy has helped us become leaders in the Maltese print market, whilst also successfully extending our operations overseas.

The company was originally set up in Msida in the early 1990s. The small printing press was primarily geared to address the needs of the then limited local printing market. In view of the developing technologies and clients’ demands, an extensive degree of investment was carried out in 2003, following an expansion in the company’s shareholding. New machinery was purchased and the press was moved to a new location in Mosta, having a floor area 50 times that of Msida.

Consequently, the company’s list of customers increased drastically. This resulted in the company’s operations outgrowing the Mosta premises within a couple of years. Once more, operations were moved to a much larger factory located at the Kordin Industrial estate, from where the company still operates.

Today Melita Press offers a full range of printing services to both local and international clients, imposing strict quality control levels for each job, whatever the run.
